Our JustUs DiGiT Influencer program provides digital communication trainings to BIPOC and disproportionately impacted (DI) communities through the lens of social justice. Our mission is to close digital equity gaps through digital literacy training, digital communication support, and easily accessible digital learning resources and materials. We use social media to create community, raise awareness, share opportunities, and recruit new voices.

JustUs DiGiT Influencer training program

After teaching Communication in higher education for over 20 years, Doc’s personal mission is to help others become digitally literate and fluent in digital communication tools.

That’s why she designed a series of digital JustUs training courses and workbooks that guide users through creating and developing their own Brand using social media and digital communication tools to create content.

Each training course teaches users how to master their speaking voice, storytelling strategies, and visual design skills for social media and digital advocacy campaigns.

Certificates of Completion and invitations to join our JustUs Affiliate program are available for those who complete each curriculum.

What To Expect From Our JustUs Journey

Our JustUs Journey is a month long digital campaign designed to help you hone your digital communication skills for social media. Although you can follow along just by following our social media pages, we offer a complete training program to help you construct and create the content you need for your campaign.

During our trainings, we walk you through our current JustUs campaign , how to participate in our JustUs for, and ways that you can learn and earn from our asynchronous training curriculum.

Pre-Launch

Get Comfortable with the course materials. Attend the Pre-Launch JustUs webinar. Learn how to use your digital downloadable workbooks and templates. Follow our JustUs social media accounts.

Launch

During week 1 of our JustUs Campaign we begin posting our commitment to social justice. Use the hashtag #JoinTheJourney to share your commitment.

Plan

During week 2 of our JustUs Campaign we work as a digital community to plan our actions. Share your Brand mission, discuss your influencer goals, create smart goals, and hold yourself accountable to enact justice in your everyday actions.

Collaborate

During week 3 of our JustUs Campaign we’ll work on collaborating in our communities around the social justice issues and topics we’re passionate about. Learn how to ask your followers for their thoughts and use that information to help accomplish your social justice goals.
